Junior Software Developer in Test, IS&T

Apple's IS&T team is looking for highly motivated and talented engineers to build the next generation of software services that powers several mission critical applications. Responsibilities include building QE test plans, strategies and cases for any given app/feature; collaborating with Dev, BPR and other project teams to execute test plans and deliver high quality products; performing automation, performance and code quality testing using tools like Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber-JVM, REST API, Appium, Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, Jenkins, Sonarqube; experience using GenAI models for coding and other tasks; performing functional, system, integration and exploratory testing; self-motivated, able to grasp issues quickly and make educated judgments in ambiguous situations; providing project managers with timely testing status and progress; multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced Agile environment; demonstrating excellent communication skills. Minimum qualifications: 1 to 2 years experience in SDET/Quality Engineering, experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, exposure to automation/performance testing tools and CI/CD, developing test strategies for UI/Web/Mobile/API/DB, exposure to GenAI, communication skills, Bachelor’s in CS or related. Preferred: experience in various testing types, QE expertise, automation framework knowledge, Agile experience, delivering high-quality work on tight schedules.
