Software Engineer

Akamai Technologies is hiring for the role of Software Engineer. Responsibilities include designing, building, and deploying advanced applications using Python and contemporary web frameworks; demonstrating expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and foundational design principles; possessing expertise in Python programming; experience with Typescript (ideally React) preferred; expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration; utilizing Docker for containerization and deployment; and demonstrating expertise in Linux commands and system administration. Requirements: Expertise in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with at least 6 months' experience in the technology sector; ability to collaborate in teams and work independently; excellent problem-solving abilities; capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
